Terminate The Vent
Exclusive dual seal air admittance valve (AAV) with 2X the Superior Sealing capability that
(1) prevents sewer gases and odors from escaping inside a building and
(2) allows air to enter the plumbing system without the use of a vent extended to open air and
(3) protects against siphonage of a plumbing fixture trap.

What are DWV systems?
DWV systems is defined and know as plumbing Drain, Waste and Vent systems. DWV systems consist of a plumbing Drain which provides a continuous Drain pipe system for a Waste to be removed and a Vent pipe system to protect trap seals, equalize pressures and protect against siphoning of traps. The DWV system drain uses gravity to remove waste in a down flow direction of the trap.
TUUBER® Air Admittance Valve permitted vent termination
Individual, Branch and Stack vents are parts of the Vent systems of DWV systems and are permitted to terminate to a TUUBER® Dual Seal air admittance valve.
Open Position
The Tuuber® AAV will open when the fixture begins to drain allowing air from the building where the AAV is installed to enter the plumbing DWV system to satisfy negative pressures that can develop to protect against trap siphoning.
Close Position
The Tuuber® AAV will close after the fixture completely drains and remain closed preventing foul gas and sewer odor from escaping after operation or during pressure testing or sewer line servicing. The Tuuber® AAV two seals close by gravity at zero (0) differential pressure, and under positive DWV system pressure and in low-pressure conditions.
